Hardware detection problem in MINI-MAX/51-E
« on: July 11, 2008, 09:18:54 am »
Hai.

I developed a code for an application using MiniMax51/E.My code is to receiving message from MinMax51/E using TCP/IP protocol.

My hardware setup is given below:

1) Connected one end of the Ethernet cable to the Ethernet port of MINI-MAX/51-E (J6)

2) Connected the other end of the Ethernet cable to the hub

3) Connected one end of serial cable to an available serial (COM) port on your PC

4) Connected the other end of serial cable to MINI-MAX/51-E serial (COM) port (J2)

5) Connected the 6VDC Adapter to the MINI-MAX/51-E power connector (J5)

I compiled and downloaded my code (with 0 errors):

To view the output I entered the IP address which is downloaded in the program. I found that no message is displayed in my web page.

I noted that MINI-MAX/51-E was not connected with the hub (I checked by pinging).

Please give me a solution for my problem.

As  the 1st step I would like to propose to get started with WEB Publisher.
http://www.bipom.com/webcatplus_publisher.php
It allows to download 100% tested  firmware, configure   all server settings ( IP, GATE IP, SUBNET mask, etc.),
and download HTML content to  SD/MMC, RAM1,EEPROM.
If this firmware works you may switch  to your own developed firmware.

Please download and install http://www.bipom.com/files/webcatplus/webcatplus.zip
FAQ  is under C:\\bipom\\devtools\\WebCatPlus\\Examples\\WebCat\\demo\\faq.htm
