I\'d like to re-submit this question. I have trouble with two things in BASCOM. One is how to not use the simulator (another post) and why when I do use it, I get a shutdown of Micro-IDE with a simulator error. Project settings are:
Build - Bascom 8051
Download - MINI-MAX/51-C Loader
Debug - 8051 Simulator
Mfg. ID - Generic
Chip ID - 8052
