DB26HD Breakout Board DB26HD Breakout Board

General Description

These breakout boards bring all 26 pins of a DB26HD (high density, 3 row) connector out to double deck screw terminal blocks for easy connection and prototyping work. They are available with both male and female connectors. The BRKDD26HDM has a male connector and the BRKDD26HDF has a female connector. Each pin is also brought to solder pads (3 per pin) at 0.1' spacing, allowing the addition of small components or 0.1' headers.

These break out boards are perfect for experimentation and prototype work, as well as for use in the educational laboratory. They are well-suited for interfacing with data acquisition equipment or any other devices that use a DB-26 connector. A breakout board is sometimes referred to as a 'transition module', 'terminal board', 'breakout box', or 'interface module'.

For mounting on a panel, we suggest the rubber feet version (-FT), 1/4' nylon standoffs under the mounting holes, and #6 screws.

Technically, the correct term for a DB26HD connector is DA26, but that term is not commonly used.

DIN Rail Mount Version

These products are also available with DIN rail mounting clips for quick and convenient mounting where DIN rail is used. Product numbers ending with -DIN come with DIN clips already installed and ready to mount. The clips allow mounting on standard 35mm rail as well as 32mm rail.
